Custom testing procedures for the highest quality
At Scholz HTIK, we employ a variety of testing procedures to ensure the quality of our products. We meticulously assess customer requirements and boundary conditions to obtain a comprehensive understanding. Moreover, we combine trusted methods with innovative technologies to uphold the highest quality standards.
ADVANCED QUALITY PLANNING & SPECIAL TESTING METHODS
Our extensive experience and adherence to international standards enable us to efficiently conduct testing procedures such as advanced quality planning and special testing methods. In this process, we thoroughly examine the critical features, functional properties, and dimensions from various perspectives in advance, closely coordinating them with both our suppliers and customers.
This approach ensures maximum transparency right from the outset.
CT AND OPTICAL MEASUREMENT TECHNOLOGY
We have been working with radiography techniques at Scholz since 2006. The advantages of this method stem from our extensive experience and ongoing development within our own facilities.
Non-destructive testing and our protection of samples from environmental influences yield a valuable trove of data. This allows samples manufactured ten years ago to be directly compared with the current tool. For things too small for conventional measurement techniques, we successfully employ optical measurement technology.
With varifocal systems, the smallest radii down to 0.1 μm can be measured, as well as root fillets on gears with modules of m = 0.2 and smaller. Additionally, they allow assessments of surface quality without the need for stylus-based methods.
GEAR MEASUREMENT/TESTING AND TOUCH PROBE MEASUREMENT TECHNOLOGY
In gear measurement and testing, we have partnered with industry leaders and adopted cutting-edge technology. The Zeiss-Prismo, one of the most powerful industrial measuring systems, is used for gear measurement. With an additional axis, even helical gears can be scanned.
In testing tasks, we work closely with Frenco, an expert in testing technology for gears. As part of our commitment to innovation, we maintain close ties with the development of measurement and testing equipment, contributing to advancements in this field. We use REANY, a software program for determining the parameters influencing gear errors, to develop and test new approaches for gear wheel manufacture and measurement.

We attach great importance to the continuous development and improvement of our processes right from the outset.
Our aim is to achieve an optimum balance between quality improvement, and cost optimisation for our customers.
Our synergies for continuous further development
This connection is fostered through close collaboration between the quality assurance, technical, manufacturing, and tooling departments, leading to the consistent optimisation of all production process steps. Simulations, virtual previews, and a continual comparison of target and actual values also provide transparency, allowing potential sources of error to be identified early and addressed immediately.
These measures enable us to consistently stay ahead of the ever-growing demands for precision and tolerances, which isn’t just a competitive advantage, but innovation in action.
Precise traceability
We prioritise uncompromising precision when it comes to tracing back our process chain.
All components that we purchase, including batches of materials from our plastics suppliers, are immediately and automatically assigned to our production batches.
Seamless sequences, zero-error processes
The individual production steps are recorded in accordance with the FIFO system right through to the final packaging for our customers. Each product is labelled such that every detail of its production can be traced.
Our customers can seamlessly continue this batch tracing, since both individual and bulk containers are labelled with a barcode. By linking the process data documentation of our injection moulding machines, we guarantee a seamless process in compliance with all relevant standards.
